Crafters for Haiti Roundup from One Pretty Thing

I certainly wish I could contribute $1 million like some celebrities to the relief effort in Haiti. But I can't, of course. Not in this economy. Yes, I made my measly $10 contribution to the Red Cross by texting "haiti" to 90999, but I so wish I could do more. That's why I just LOVE the way the crafting community is helping out. Many are contributing a portion or all of their profits from the sale of their handmade creations. So I can stock up on Birthday and Christmas gifts and feel really good about helping with the relief efforts at the same time! Check out One Pretty Thing's roundup of some of these wonderful crafters and bloggers to do your part.

Crazy Mama-ness, Swapping Fun, and A Little Heart Plushie

What a busy, busy, busy couple of weeks. Too busy (obviously) to give B.Inspired Mama the attention it so desperately needs! But I'm not gone and hopefully not forgotten. Just distracted with all my crazy life and mama-ness, like spraining my darn ankle over the holidays, TRYING to potty train my now 3 year old, catching up on B.Inspired Vintage, and opening a new shop, too, (which I will announce real soon). AND swapping cool things, like recipes, crafty links and creations through Swap-bot! If you haven't signed up, you must go - RIGHT NOW! It is so easy and fun. Here is a little ditty I created today with some cute vintage strawberry fabric for a plushie swap I'm pleased to be a part of. I hope my partner *hearts* it! (And I hope I didn't just spoil the surprise...) Maybe I should make make a few of these for my shop. What do you think?
